boot that wont slip on slippery clay tracks

After falling on my arse 5 times last night I need some new foot ware.
can any one recommend any boot or sole type, that wont loose grip on the wet smooth clay tracks?

    Thanks

Even cloven hoof animals slip. The more grip on the sole means the more clay they will pick up, so you'll be back to slicks pretty much as soon as you start.

Get a set of Kahtoola microspikes really like mine. Useful for when you hit a bit of snow and ice going over a saddle as well

@ROKTOY they are a lot cheaper than I paid for mine! Same idea though, stretchy rubber to go over the toe of your boot and chains over your sole like mini car ice breaker chains

I found the Aliexpress ones after looking at the Kahtoola microspikes. I was sceptical, so spending $20 to test them out was easier to stomach than spending $100. Hoping to try them out this week.

Been impressed with the Kahtoola set, running down gravel road with ice on top and a few inches of snow and no sign of them falling off. Plenty of grip for going to and from the car at skifield. Haven't used them much in mud but imagine they will work, but like anything they will clog up eventually

Instead of the usual wire or fabric strap on my gaiters, I sometimes use a length of 8 to 10 mm chain. Seems to help grip in mud
