Expend Synmat Winterlite or whatever the red one is, it's about 300-350 grams, comfy and warm

I have the Thermarest Neo xlite, it's a minter. Warm, light and lifetime guarantee. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. In saying that the Thermarest prolite is still a great option with the added benefit that it self inflates to about 80% of required pressure.

+3 on the winterlite, its like a neoair xtherm only it doesnt sound like you are sleeping on a pile of plastic bags and you wont have to sell a child to purchase one

Yep got the regular neoair about 350g. Very comfortable, rolls up small. Awesome, wish I'd had it 20 years ago.

Mates got a number of 'Mother Earth' models. Reckons they are the lightest ones available and the most durable on the market! Unsure of the exact weight but he says way lighter than 300 grams. Cheapest ones he's come across also. He regularly uses the DIRT model which he said does 90% of his trips. He's tried but doesn't recommend the ROCK model as its not overly comfortable, and said stay away from the SNOW model as it's got terrible thermal insulation and has a very low rating. The TUSSOCK model is good if you can locate one but apparently distribution of this model is a bit hit and miss and is more readily available in the South Island...
