Back in the day in my area, the best saw to get was the saw used on a bush skid. They hard a hard life but very well looked after usually, bars, chains etc
The guys I knew, played football with etc. ran by the rule that the day they couldn't get it started with the first couple of pulls they were on the way out so to speak and traded in on a new one in the near future, usually only 12 months old. Still nothing wrong with them for a home use and a good industrial chainsaw.
