Ontario RAT 1, Aus 8 steel, good lock up and a well centered blade. Holds a great edge and I find easy to sharpen. Good gimping on back of blade and great hollow for thumb.
I have had about 10 months now and although I haven't done a deer with it yet it has probably skinned and removed meat off 700 -800 rabbits.

Not expensive, designed in USA , made Taiwan but a really good knife that performs alot better than some stuff I have owned worth two and half times the price.Name: DSC_0001.jpg

Viper, I have a RAT 1 in D2 steel, pretty nice knife. Actually damn good for the price. I will be taking it out once I'm back hunting (recovering from an injury).

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

    Folding knife for hunting

I was deeculler for 6 years and carried a mercator as a spare all the time. There is a great choice of knives these days.

Got a new one the same after seeing the Manly on here. Razor sharp and very firm when open but not physically locked. Will remain new as I like locking.
