    Garmin Maps

    Hi just bought a Garmin 64 s and was wondering what topo maps people are running and recommend. Are the topo hunt maps any good by Memory Map

    You want a Mr Purple topo map. He sells them on Trademe, but there's none of his auctions running currently. I'll give him a nudge.

    They're made from the same data as the official LINZ Topo50 maps, so all the info is identical to what you would get on a paper map (which you should be taking with you as well).

    He also has a website under construction - not sure if the online purchasing is working yet.

    Either way, it's $65. Includes DOC boundaries and hunting areas. Take a look at his website for screenshots.
