    Apparently

    Duck hunters now use double barrelled rifles and have whistles round their neck to call the duck in

    from-pond-to-plate-a-doomed-ducks-journey-during-hunting-season

    I just read that story in the Waikato Times while having lunch. Thought it was quite a good write up.
    And I have a Mallard drake whistle too.

    If you read on it morphs into a double barrel shotgun later in the article, so some crossed stitches at the start for what was otherwise a reasonable article. Quite different to the shite we normally get.

    No I don't have one yet, but one day I will. And it will be big. Something like a 470 Nitro.

    I've fired a single shot 50 and that wasn't unpleasant. But I'm under 70 kgs and a bit soft to go with it. So though the thought of it almost hurts.
