    epic goose hunt

    The story that would have gone with this would have taken me a week to wright so here are some pics. maybe a vid in the coming months. most of these photos i have pinched off face book and are not mine.     That was the monday morning and the best shoot of the weekend. Every one was shagged and only three of us bothered getting out of bed the geese came straight in was beautiful! 25 that morning.

    As I am getting the impression that the buggers are spreading around Jaffasville a lot more in the last two years, it is just as well that there is no closed season on them.

    Looks like you guys at Redgate had a hell of a time. I was on Isolated Flat and would have been lucky to have seen 80 birds. I suppose thats why they call it hunting and not catching. Nice work.

    We were surprised isolated flat done so poorly as a lot of birds came from that way.

    Well done Pete. I knew you would be on the best block We got 60 from the Upper Acheron, had to work hard for them though, no sitting on a tarn all day for us
