Popped into H&F Dunedin today. They have some falcon, not heaps. I got couple of packets of the 35gm 70mm to try. Look like that was all they had, in 4s and 3s. Lots of Eley and other brands. Kent faststeel shipment delayed until later this month.

Ha ha @Micky Duck we have similar tastes!

I might take you up on that. The other one that looks interesting is the Winchester SXP. All a bit academic at the moment, have blown my spare cash on a shotgun (Rem 870 express - left hand) for the boy and gearing up with new deks etc. Will have to make do with the ol' SKB this season.

few years back had mate shooting with us so he used my pump action..I used the old Bakail U/O for opening weekend and to be honest really didnt end up with many less birds...well maybe when I got the jump on whole heap of canadas up close....mind you still got 7 birds from that wee episode.
four rounds 2 3/4 did the damage.

im not gainsaying your h&r so much but those guncity pos hell yes.
i tried a nice winchester 1300 3inch ammo jammed it tighter than the proverbial
took it straight back and grabbed one of the several rem 870,s they had
.when you now you know same with the ladieeees.
you can drop the 870 in the lake walk half a mile before you realise you lost it.walk back find it in a foot of water and mud
wipe it off but not properly,
get up in the morning to find it covered in surface rust which fortunatly comes of a piece of piss cos you literatly bath it in rem oil everytime you clean it.
out with the internals via that little lever beside the substancial listen up mossberg decent shell lifter dry bit of oil and away you go.
even tho it still fired wet grubby and covered in shite
i had to know if it would before you ask and yes i checked there was no mud in the chamberr barrel
