    Their points are solid as but what you don't see is when the bird buggers off so do they. poor training on my part I'm afraid.

    I might just keep adding pics and video to this thread as we walk the area most nights.

    I only use a 28ga now over the dog

    Generally they nest well over the fence in the private lands where they don't get disturbed you quite often see them wandering round the gardens of the farmers

    Have you seen the famous grouse ad where the grouse walks across the screen then flys off after shots fired.....the first two times the dog saw that he tried to get behind the tv to see where the bird went hit live pause and replayed it so the wife could see it, bad mistake the dog nearly took the tv out he's not as steady as yours mikee
