    End of an era in Whitianga

    Alas, young Toby has decided to move the famous "postman pat" on to pastures new. Of course she has been called Sanity since he took her over and started flying the Epic charters flag.

    So, anyone fancy a big Red kingi slaying machine...I didnt tell ya this, but the current owner could be persuaded to stay on as a skipper if a deal could be reached.

    If anything, we are looking at going in the opposite direction and downsizing to shrink the Monkey on my back.
    If I had years on my side though, I would consider buying that boat and employing the current owner as skipper, purely based upon the reputation that he has built up.

    It is VC and my family and I will miss it I am sure but the reality of age and my current unemployment cannot be ignored.
