Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Okiwi got scallops and maybe kings off the islands if your lucky
    Take a longline.
dunno why but some days are good on the line and Shit on rods and others the opposite.

No not too early and do you have access to a boat?
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

While I wont call them Snapper it looks like they have turned up in tasman bay, and hour and a halfs fishing while kids at school.

Hey Smiddy, (are you Josh James side kick?) any way Pelorus sound is the place to be for Snapper. Drop your boat in at Havelock and head round to the Pelorus.
Just out of Havelock is the Keneperu sound (which is off the lower Pelorus), good Snapper in there as well and a bit more sheltered.

    Wow

If you could post up a few more pics that would be great , then I might be able triangulate your position
Years ago we just used to fish a couple of hundred yards of Kina beach on the incoming tide . The action was always hard and fast as the schooling Pan sized beauties hit the baits for 5 minutes and then were gone .
