    so what do we tell a mate next year there is no room for him in the chopper?
    #39 we freezer 6x 1L milk to last the week and keep everything in the chilly bin cool and have fresh milk for breakfast and coffee

    We order our meat for summer holidays camping from butcher vacc packed and frozen. Keep it in the chilly bin and it lasts ages, and doesn't leak.

    How many people carry those sort of ingreadiance into the bush anyway???????

    I doo like the water filled lantern but
    Im not a fan of the double sleeping bag!! The bush is my "time out"

    The most useful bit of kit I have found is "The New Zealand Outdoor Cookbook" by Marcelle Pilkinton. Heaps of good recipes and tips.

    gadget if you and i shared a maimai at ellesmere would we need to shoot the milk for 1st cuppa of the morning.!actually thinkin about our campsite at boggy -Andys Mrs Essies curry at full strength would definitely make us all glow like camp lanterns!!BTW-church corner books for more -i pickup gary girvans "duckhunting in NZ"
