    This is not my picture, but this is a view I love. Looking W to NW from Christchurch in winter. On a cold clear winters morning they look like you could stretch out you arm and touch them. The Torlesse range and beyond.

    From my office just now looking west... fresh mound of dirt behind the two hay bales is where we buried one of our Ponies early yesterday... We'd had him 21 years. There's 4 under that paddock now.

    Tell me fullas does the mount have a crater? I've climbed most mountains in the North but only got too Kahui Hut on that one.

    Dundee - Mt Egmont does have a crater - it is a volcano after all , and dormant , not extinct. Usually has permanant ice in the crater , only in severe droughts does all the ice melt away. Its also a mountain not to be trifled with - out-of-towners often misjudge the conditions and end up lost or dead.

    lmfao i guess the more i see it from this angle the more it looks like a teens white head

    but actually i was called at 10pm the staurday nite ..w3hat time do u finish milking? so itwas quick milkin in the morn give the missus instructions for the day and where cows goin arvo ..then ceeeeeyoooooouuuuuuuu on the road by 7;45 down to patea over the bar n fishin cant complain sore head today tho ????????
