    Yes, got a phone call this morning asking if I was out of bed and could I come give a hand. He was firmly planted on the ground and pretty wild, so we used the tractor to lift the netting to get him off the ground and immobilise him. Cut a few of the main strands holding most of the birdsnest in place, then lowered him down again and after a few seconds thrashing around he got free.

    Much prefer the tractor approach to the 'dive in and hold him' approach. Still got a wee scar on the bridge of my nose from the last one... glad I was wearing safety glasses.

    32 degrees is not my idea of paradise....We get that here in the mainland at times too and it dam near kills me.

    Mercury just hit 34 here, been looking forward to a bit of warmth for the last 9 months! Loving it!
    Might take the kids for a swim in the lake after work if they are not too tired.

    Now if the sea temp would just warm up a bit, all would be good with the world!

    Better than a coffee to wake you up. Have played with fallow in the quietening sheds for tb testing.... Good fun!
