The Hurricane Gods are tempting me....

99L currently is a depression that has over a 50% chance of forming to a tropical storm and a hurricane. As a Miami native and a multiple hit veteran of the Florida hurricane seasons. Time to deploy the list.

Rum? Are you a pirate? Drink age statement single malt from Scotland. It's bottled sunshine from the planet's least sunny country.

Pretty sure images like that won't win us any favours with the media attention guns have at the moment. You would be stupid to think they don't browse forums like these

I know that stuff in from my ancestral homeland, but seriously, how can anyone get their nose close enough to be able to get some in the mouth? Best used for removing paint and varnish really.

I know, and going back a bit further my ancestors were the raiders from the north. It was a viking that started the clan.

Och nooooo Gadget. The fermented renderings from malted barley aged in a charred white oak barrel are delightful.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

GM from all of the years reading your posts I have this picture of a wiry weedy character and now you are telling us you come from Norse giant Viking stock? At what point did Dundees forebears have their evil way with your kinsmen?

My father used it medicinally. He was quite eager for the inkling of a cold to appear, and I'm sure that if the cat sneezed (note: we never had a cat and he couldn't stand the creatures) the bottle would be fetched. When offered it I did manage to get a wee dram in the fingertips of my hand with an outstretched arm. Buggered if I could get the stuff any closer.

Well the local highland folk were the hardy little wiry fellas Rushy. The lowlanders were the big lads, with a bit more viking blood, though most of Europe invaded at some stage so the only purity of blood in those isles was the impurity or the proof. If @kotuku can recall my uncle from the coast (born in the 'auld country) was a big lad but his father was just a wee highland laddie.

We were Danish Pagans originally, they still sing about Odin, Thor and Tyr at the riding of the borders.

This is the real reason for our "evil ways" They hated that they had to wait till 1700 to burn us at the steak.

When a Viking clan descended from a Norse Aet the family is DNA soup, genes from everywhere.

Someone from my lot has started a scrap over our wikipedia page with the official "clan" history indicating the apple does not fall far from the polar bear.

According to folklore from the Viking Sagas Elliot and Armstrong were the names of the first twin boys born to an Icelandic princess and fathered by a polar bear. Legend has it that they were the first of the Vikings and there is a blood oath between the clans, that if one ever calls on the other in a time of need, they are bound by that oath, to kill or die for the other.[citation needed] There is an old tradition among the Christians in the clans, to baptise all male infants, immersing their entire bodies, save the right arm. In the case that they ever have to kill for the clan, they are to do it with their right arm only, and remove that arm, before (or at the time of) death, so as to meet their maker with a clear conscience. Hence the right arm holding the cutlass or falchion on the badge or crest.

I still want to see a Hurricane
Yes, I used the term Viking blood very loosely. Basically Scandinavian, mixed with anything else they met on the way. I have the blue/grey eyes and used to have the blond hair. Fella I worked with called me an Aryan that Hitler would have liked.
