that 'chicken' product is plant protein based (peas) but they are growing 'meat' in a number of labs now and i hear the cost is coming down. this will be an interesting space to watch over the next few years - not too hard to imagine it might become a mainstream food source in the future. does anyone know much about this lab 'meat'?

Im willing to try anything, as I like to keep an open mind.

However im not sure if stalking and shooting meat in a lab is very sporting.

Its so if you don't like chicken you can eat fake chicken because they know there are people out there who will eat it

If you don't like something isint it normally due to taste and texture?

Off the top of my head the only everyday things I don't like to eat are kina and broad fuckin beans.

I have once had kina made into a spread that was bloody awesome.

Should be proseciuted, if advertised as chicken it should be chicken not something else being passed off as chicken. I have no problem with vegetarians, and actually find some vegetarian, dishes bloody nice but object to evangelical vegans or wanna be vegetarian meat eaters that I guess this is aimed at.

This isn't new. The veggies could buy tins of TVP (textured vegetable protein) patties thirty years ago....
