    Minceing

No not walking like Rushy, the meat kind. Just brought a new mincer and am keen on giving it a go. Dad was a butcher in his day and I used to help Sunday morning doing sausages etc. This was soooooooome time ago. Would like to hear of your own recipes and efforts, both good and bad. Hope that this is not another impulsive buy

As well as the mincing parts themselves, really makes a difference to chuck them in the freezer for an hour. At least that's what my head chefs have always told me to do.

Must be a North Island thing. You'd be lucky to get a Southerner suggesting a 'sausage fest'........
