My old Safari would do 0-100km/h. Just not in February, needed a couple more days to get there.

well that's that. A face full of stiches and a neck also looking like Frankenstein. 12 hrs later and still bleeding, get sent home (motel) to recover. Can't say enough about how well I was treated in Hospital thou, if it wasn't for the needles it would of been a pleasant experience. Every one we dealt with, were friendly and very very informative. Just a waiting game now to see if the C has spread and if so where, or better still been removed and clear. And thanks for the support, phone, emails, pager haven't stopped, offers of help, Taupo accommodation thanks Maca and others, very humbling indeed.

Think I need some bubble wrap. Weather forecast was good for a long kayak fishing mission this morning. Unfortunately it looks like I've torn a muscle (or at least where one should be) in my shoulder getting the tub on the roof racks. Think I'll have to stick with using a trailer for the yak as the roof racks are about 200mm above my head, and will get raised further shortly.
