    I really like squirting a couple of puffs of Carbryl down a wasp nest. Get a real kick out of going back the next day and saying "not so tough now you little bastards".
    Been spraying black berry so finding two or three nests most days. A couple found me, but nothing too serious (yet).

    Back from a day at the range .. original intention was to do some Load testing and revalidation of my 243, but it was too windy ..

    The small primate and his Smaller Primate Girlfriend came with ...

    She shot the following with the ruger 10/22 and then proceeded to smash 70mm clays @240yards with my 223 with frightening ease.

    Group #5 below is truly scary.

    Girls !!! I tell ya !!! I've yet to meet one who couldn't shoot the fly off a dogs bollocks @ 100 yards within hours with the right training ...

    The small primate did ok as well (he tells me he's coming back to his best pretty quickly)

    Awesome ...

    Summer is finally No thermometer anywhere handy but swear it's over 25! No way I can sit in the sun, no idea how people are sunbathing. Dogs are even hiding in the shade.

    Having 3 cord of DRY firewood stacked away ready for winter ......... And it's only just February

    This has to be an all time record for me, usually I'm ringing around looking for wood two days after the first cold snap only to be told sorry we sold out, or the only wood we have will be good for next winter.

    Cheers

    I see firewood as better than money in the bank! Have to keep at least one year in advance when we get snow on the ground for a few months over winter

    @7mmsaum

    I got up before 6 this morning and stacked it before it gets hot.

    Earned heaps of brownie points for my troubles too

    Might have to think about an evening fish tonight if the wind keeps down that is.

    Cheers
