I aim for/line up on the lefthand side & bottom of the centre circle (mothball) & like to put the group up & right typically.

I dialled the scope left for the second group.

I don't like the group too close to the mothball, its very easy to hit it & destroy your point of aim.

Its all too easy to shoot a .65-1" group at that range & the prevailing conditions can put the POI in a pretty big area, they are only 65 grain bullets with a BC of not enough even with 33-3400 fps on board..

Managed to stay on my feet long enough to get to the mall and back. Only about 2km there and back, but it's a positive.

Also put the old John Wayne move McLintock on tellie from youtube. There were the usual wines at the start, ... but they were all laughing their heads off and complaining when I paused it for the night.

Had a bastard of a day yesterday, was telling my sister about it last night. 6am this morning I was just waking up and get a message from her "where are you?" to which I replied "at my house, just woke up"
Next message I get from her "well get your ass outside, lets farm the shit out of this place" look out the window and she's out there leaning against her truck, overalls and boots on, couple of coffees from the BP and a pie sitting on her bonnet.
Was a bloody great hand, got heaps done, put a roof over a yard, strung up a few new fences here and there, fixed this and that, got the cows fed, poked fun at our olds, don't know why she ever stopped farming, she would walk all over most young fellas I have come across. Great day!

Had a day away from here and just got back. Caught up with our second family.......the soccer/football trials, game days and extra coaching sessions have started again. Most Sundays will be taken up with this now. Today was Dunedin, and most of last years crew were there.Great to get off the place, and put energy into something different, and the positives being given to the kids, seeing them beaming when challenged and winning.
Unwritten adult rule is the phones are left in the vehicles, and not touched until home time. Was a struggle for some, but theyre getting used to it. The kids have our undivided attention on the sideline

Well done. Man that bike is shiney.
