Personally I agree with the driver, if someone tries to open my car door and start bouncing my car around, I'd try get the hell out of there cause I don't know what they are gonna do. Is this considered Self Defense in New Zealand?

I would have done exactly the same thing.

From my experience, people who block public roads and behave in an aggressive manner are not there to hand out hugs. They're there to either to cause shit, steal shit and or hurt / kill you. In the list of things in life I truly fear, a mob and its accompanying mob mentality is one of them.

I guess Mum was right all those years ago when she warned,

Sooner or later your gonna get run over if you insist on playing on the road.

Where was that? What was going on? Why didn't the driver deploy the wheel arch M60's?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

By law, you are required to turn on your headlights if it's raining in Sweden.

How the hell am I supposed to know if it's raining in Sweden?

I love that after the incident, a significant number of protesters (trouble makers?) suddenly decide the need to be somewhere else is greater than the need of the cause.....

Come to America. Pedestrians have right of way everywhere and just walk out without looking. Took a bit to get use to. Especially when you're the pedestrian waiting to cross and all these cars stop for you
