    Alpine Long Range

    This event is on 1-2 July up the Rakaia only 45 spots so if you want in find them on Facebook. Targets out to 1300m so come and test yourself. $250 includes onsite accommodation.

    whats the accommodation like? the ritz? $250 seems pretty steep for a couple days shooting....

    I will be there for my first ever competition shoot. Looks like it will be cold and wet.

    I will see you there Blair. What class are you shooting in? I have a great jacket so rain, no matter. As you probably know the most important thing is getting your range right and having your dope for the range correct. It will be fun no matter what the conditions are.

    Just hunter class. 4th time shooting new 260. Hopefully got the load sorted. will have to make a range card for hold over on Saturday morn. Have a rough one made up for dialing the other load i had. but Hunter class is hold over only.

    Ryan, it includes all meals with the accommodation, not your average horse float @Gibo

    The weekend clashes for me or else I'd be there.

    I was scheduled to be off shore for work so didn't enter. Turns out, I'm going to be home and the wife has now loaded the job magazine and has it already inserted to the gun!

    They have a Facebook page Alpine Longrange shooting or something similar. I only heard about it 2 weeks ago.
