    Rent/borrow range finder in Dunedin?

I'd like to measure the distance from a building deck to a target area in a valley North of Dunedin so I can do some longish range testing. But need a range finder. Does anybody in Dunners have one I can rent or borrow for the weekend please?

Using google earth for a measurement might get you close enough?

Yep. That's the fallback/double check. Reckon it's that accurate?

I'm in Dunners and I have a 1000m rf. Happy to lend (not rent), but was hoping to use it hunting this weekend. Anyway, PM me, maybe can work something out.

Wallacetown guys are smart. I have a mate that was a firefighter there and he's smart like that too.

There are any number of GPS apps I use GPS measuring tape the longer the distance the less important the slight inaccuracy in your GPS. They work very well have checked mine against my Sig Sauer 2000 only a few meters in 1000m.
