    Another newbie

    Morning All.

    Just joined the site so time for a quick intro. I've grown up with a reaonsable exposure to firearms on the farm etc. but have just recently finally forked out for one of my own (CMMG Mk4 RCE A-Cat'ified with a Vortex Viper 1-4x24 MRAD scope on it).

    I'm not much interested in hunting so have been looking around options for ranges locally. I've made contact with Hawkes Bay Rifle Club and bouncing a couple of emails with Les for now. Also dropped the local Deer Stalkers Association an email as I see they do range days occasionally but nothing back yet. Would love to hear any other suggestions anyone has!

    As time and money allow no doubt the collection will grow, perhaps with a foray into 3-Gun, but for now I'm just looking to get some practice and improve skill/knowledge etc.

    No doubt plenty of good info on here already so no doubt you'll see me skulking around a few threads!

    Maybe mention where you are based, as there are plenty of HB based shooters here that maybe able to help.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
