    Aussie in NZ

    Hey Ladies and Gents,

    Allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a new Kiwi resident of 6 months, living in Timaru. Fresh off the boat from Aussie, Sunshine Coast, QLD.
I'm recently engaged to a lovely Kiwi girl. We have 5 kids between us from 16 to 5 years old.

I recently got my firearms licence and got a 22 magnum to find my feet. I have no experience hunting just a bit of clay shooting in the past.

The inlaws are all well accomplished hunters for many decades in South Island mainly.

I've been across the forums for a few weeks so far.

Keen for advice and tips tricks and trips....

Long term I'm keen on deer and pigs but not sure where my hunting journey will take me.

I shot my first animals on the weekend and made a point of skinning, gutting and trimming them to prove to myself I can do it.

    Mission accomplished!!!!

See you all around. Any local Timaru send me a Hoi for a catchup.

    Cheers
    Aussie.

Ps If you wanna talk Rugby be prepared to talk cricket too

Welcome aboard mate. I see you have the natural Australian flair for naming things

They are a pretty good bunch on here overall, but given where you come from, I would brace yourself for the onslaught

Bugger me I am late to this party. Welcome Aussie. Er what is cricket?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
