    Intro

    Hi All
New to this forum. Been on the fishnhunt one for awhile. Not new to hunting. Started chasing pigs in my younger days where I grew up down the sounds. Found that stalking was more my pace and have been doing that ever since. Not intetested in the bitchyness that some of the posts end up being. As my name says have been using this cal for 15yrs and don't see my self changing. Changing my set up though so I can take some longer shots. Going dial up scope which is a new step for me so will be interested in talking to people to help the set up.
Live in Marlborough with my wife and 2 sons. My boys love hunting and shooting, for xmas last year they got a thompson center 22 and they love it. Hunt the nelson lakes mostly. Starting to venture into the richmond ranges a wee bit.
Always keen to meet new like minded people, go hunting or have a beer.

    Cheers Dan

Welcome Dan. If you need to use a good range to sort out the LR stuff, Cable bay is hard to beat, and quite local too.

Cheers fellas. Good to know about cabel bay. Parents still have property in the sounds and have a 100mtr range and I will be setting up a 3-400mtr one soon. I know it's not all that bitchy just seen the name calling etc that can happen on the other site. End goal will be to get me and the rig shooting comfortably at 4-500mtrs. Was comfortable with old set up to 400mtrs but its a long way for a hold over scope.

    Welcome Dan. Enjoy.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
