    Are you using Lapua brass Greg? Perhaps I should have fire formed some Lapua instead of buying the Nosler custom brass.

    I'm using Nosler 280ai brass, 24" barrel.

    The brass was previously used in a couple of 280ais, reformed, then annealed & is on its 6th firing through the 280 imp max.

    If I don't care about brass etc, 3100 + is easily achievable....

    Might have a play with RL25, haven't found any RL22 yet

    280 Imp max

    Shit!... mine are around 44magnum /30/30speed lol. 2650fps
    I'll pep the bastards up for tomorrow. They shoot well however.
    The chrony showed 3060-3100fps for the 140 partitions...@63grains of 2213sc...Accuracy for those was crap...what would or could be max for the 140?
    I don't want to burn the earth just find the next half decent accurate node; Obviously I'll work up...

    It is an Improved 280ai so has a little more capacity.

    I haven't run 140s in it.

    There is plenty of data out now for the 280ai
