Thread: Dehydrator recipes?

Hey guys
Just bought a dehydrator and have been playing round with things to make.
have made abit of jerky(chamois,sweet chilli and soy is good) and just normal old fruit and vege.
any other good ideas out there?
good jerky recipes?

I use a beef stock cube mixed with a little chille pepper and some salt.

has anyone had any success dehydrating a savoury mince or beef stew ??

I've had a crack and its never quite come out as well as I'd hoped ...

how i understand you make a meal with mince for say then spread it thinly on sheets and dry it on sheets
then just rehydrate the entire meal

I've never got it to do anything other than turn to mince powder which then turns into a lovely savoury mince flavoured soup.

Which is fantastic if thats what you were aiming for ...

Actually it made a damned nice gravy additive
