    Sweet breads

    Not game ,but have been given some . How do I cook them?

    Fry them up in butter breadcrumbed or deep fry in a little batter.

    A little French salad on the plate wont hurt either.

    I've heard you can blanch them first is that nessary ?

    You boil them 1st to be able to peel the membrane off them ,then dip in egg then bread crumbs,then fry in butter bit fiddly but worth it they are devine.

    just roll them in flour and fry in butter

    have on toast and season with a bit of salt and pepper

    Boil 'em, peel the membrane, fry in honey...toss the frypan away after wards...too bloody hard to clean.
    Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

    Mum used to cook em in a white sauce and add chopped parsley at the end. Yum, yum. Have not had em in years now though
    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

    Got two boxes of them in the freezer, Had four boxes given to me, yum yum yum EGG, BREADCRUMBS and BUTTER

    I saw them at pak n save the other day, werent cheap!..Didnt take note of the price, will next time Im down there.

    A lot from the freezing works north of hamil hole got rid of export stuff that was due to expire, was going to f
    France, staff got chance to purchase
