Trout done right
I'm sure the fishos on here will have secret recipes and make it taste lovely but this is my take on these fantastic fish.
You will need:
1 Trout (preferably a rainbow) of edible size.
Butter
Garlic and herb salt
Himilayan salt(tastes way better and isn't bad for you like the normal stuff)
Black pepper
White pepper
And lastly tin foil.
Pre heat oven to 200 degrees fanbake.
Have your fished gutted, scaled and head removed with it being opened up down to the tail on one side.
Season with salt, peppers(lightly) and the garlic and herb salt down the whole fish. Then get 4 big tea spoon size dollaps of butter placing one on each side with one on the top of each side of the fish.
Wrap in tin foil and bake for 20mins but just check and if it needs it give it some more time.
Lastly remove it from the oven and in wrap it. Place onto a cutting board and grab the tail where it's at its hardest and pull up and away from you. This should remove most of the bones.
To finish crack open a cold Speights beverage and enjoy. Condiments such as buttered bread work really well.

I'm no healthy food eating hippy but trust me you won't go back to normal salt. It will work just it's been ages since we switched to the himilayan stuff.

N I thought iodine is good for you....since there's a natural lack of it in the country...

I'm down your way now, I might try it, bar your suggestion of washing it down with muddy water!
