    Whenuapai meat merchants

I shot my first deer recently and decided to get it proffessionally butchered.
2 reasons # 1 my wife is a city girl and dosent want to meet her meat
#2 I wanted to use the whole animal i have a few mates with old venison wrapped up in shopping bags freezer burnt in the bottom of the chest freezer and I really didn't to waste any meat,
I got Nicole's card from a deer stalkers meeting and have had it in my wallet for a couple of months so gave her a ring to see what I needed to do she asked me to skin and Hoove the animal and bring it in
When I got there she asked me what I wanted cut wise and how many people would be eating to make the portion sizes suit, I opted for a buttload of mince, sausages and told her she has license to make the rest as she saw fit I also took in a small goat and we decided on some venison goat salamis
2 weeks later I got a call saying come on in and pick your meat! 😀 the pics show how much I got back and how well packaged everything was I also got 6 big salamis out of the goat and they are there hanging there for another 4 weeks odd I'm quite excited about those they smell amazing!
All in all I was really impressed with the service, price and end product

I've had a few done by the butcher before, can't recall price but would have been similar. It seems a lot but compare it to buying 30kg of meat at the supermarket.... Some folks don't have the time or facilities to do it themselves.

just your average hind about $65 for steaks and mince.(bagged) under $10 for salami last time i got them done. Cant remember what sausages cost per kg. If am busy at work i will even get my mutton cut up $25 not bagged
Its all the small goods that add up
Always ask for back steaks to be keep whole and dont put any crap meat in the mince

I think the cost you payed was fair given it all seems to be vaccum packed and labeled. That all take time and stuff. It will last packed like that.
We spend quite some time vaccy packing all our collected stuff
