Nobody is going to do anything with nuclear weapons. Because... even purportedly stupid people know MAD. As for "conventional conflicts", it seems these days that unconventional is the new conventional.

So you think that Mexico is going to invade Texas (which iconically used to be part of Mexico) because of some crap that Trump said? Yeah right. Even if that was a likely thing the Yanks have the world's largest army and nukes.

War between US and Mexico = Never happen. Too much trade legal and otherwise at stake.

The problem with trump is he's the prefect propaganda tool for the likes of IS.
All the ranting and raving he does is the perfect recruitment tool.

More likely to cause more domestic violence than international conflict.
That being said, increase in domestic tragedies would grow to an assault on wherever at the time they assume to be the country harbouring the most members.

I can see the US walking away from NATO in the not too distant future

And that is why some people will vote for him and people like Rodrigo Duterte. They are sick of politicians who only say the "PC" thing to say while keeping with the status quo. Duterte campaigned on getting rid of drug dealers and he's started doing it one bullet at a time. SAD state of affairs. He has already threatened China with a war over the China made islands. OOPS that could be a mistake

1600+ homicides in a couple months? Already had a few guy's try blow him up, can't be much longer before the proper drug lords not just the petty pushers on the street kick back and do proper damage.

OH yes he will be costing some people some serious money.
