    cracked fore stock

I have an old shotgun with a cracked fore stock, is there a glue or resin, Loctite etc that I can use for a quick fix,
only has to last for a couple of days, can open crack up to squeeze something in, just not to sure what to put in.

I fixed my shotty stock with it last year can hardly see where the crack was and it's held tight as a tight thing.

    Simple fix really.
Tape up either side of the crack and anywhere else you don't want the glue to stick to, work the glue into the crack, clamp it up, wipe the excess glue off, leave to cure, remove the tape, Jobs done, go hunting.

    Check out the photos here

Can get it at Mitre 10 Mega or Bunnings etc.

    Cheers

    Yep this stuff is good.

I got bottle, $9-$10, it had a swing tag on it for a monthly competition.

Filled out the entry online ,a few weeks later a box full of applicators, tubes of fillers t shirt etc showed up. Propably at least a $100 worth easy. gave most if it away.

Yup as wood glue its good. The reloading table I was trying to fix back together was not.....waay too much borer.

If you can find some in a small bottle this stuff is what Joiners in my family use WOODLOK WL 2400 Hardline Aliphatic PVA - Glue Guru .
Used for anything from making window sills to repairing furniture. I've even seen some conservators use it on aged wooden objects.
Could approach a Joinery/Kitchen/Furniture maker and see if they would sell you some. If you were in Christchurch I could get you some easily but don't think they'd like posting it - could be wrong. Gorilla glue may suffice though - haven't had any experience with it.
