Thread: Hull Ammo

I see in The Press today, that Fosters Chainsaws (The Blenheim Road store only) have got a shipment of ammo in for duckshooting. Some shooters might be interested in see what they have available.

I am a Gamebore blackgold fan for clay ammo and Gamebore in 20g game loads.
Used hull on targets and it was pretty good I reckon. Never knew Mr Foster brought hull game loads into NZ.

I believe that they bring a couple of shipments in each year. There 20 gauge game loads are about $140 to $150 per slab.

Ive used Barrys Hull "dtl300"ammo for clays and solway magnum 34gm 3"steel for field work and I swear by it.any goose or duck copping that load is goneburger full stop.
both my guns were finnicky with std clay ammo till one of the waihora GC guys suggested i try some of Barrys loads-whoaaaaa away we go.
pricewise its reasonable too.
