Has anyone bought the V3 and what do you think of it
Getting good reviews.?
Ok, I bought it this morning, thanks for the help.:)
How does it go I've got a versa Max it goes well
Haven't had a chance yet,, just mucking about cleaning it up will shoot it tomorrow,
3 hrs man, stacks of time for the panel
Though I agree,It does, however for better or worse I now own a Remington Shotgun.:)
Chokes are interesting
It comes with 4
Rem choke modified in the barrel and three extended ones
One labelled " "Over decoys"
Another ,"Pass shooting"
The last "Flooded Timber"
why would you shoot at ''flooded timber''
Dunno
Guess its the full
says it can be used with steel
How did the V3 go @jakewire ?
If I ever replace my old 11-87 the Versamax or V3 would be tempting...
Doing clays this afternoon if the drizzle clears, will post about how it went after that.
Maybe for shooting beaver.
Well I shot three rds of clays with it this afternoon, as well as a round with the Miroku
Definitely softer shooting than the Miroku and my friends older Browning Citori.
Another guy had a Versamax , though I didn't get to shoot that I got to look it over and it is a bigger gun than the V3 for sure
I have three failures to load with the first box of Eley trap Olympic blues 28gram, just would not quite go into a battery without a slight shove on the handle, However I fired a box of three inch steel next followed by another box of Olympic and had no more problems
was consistently getting only two misses per rd, so pretty happy first up.
The Magazine cut off is easier to use than the Browning Maxus and SKB1900, if fact it is excellent and will save much unloading when in the field.
We're u using the eley shells that have more pressure @jakewire
I think I was using the normal one , however as above after a box of three inch steel no problems with the light load for the last box.
