On Hunting Aotearoa last night in case you missed it

First time I have seen another pointer working and other peoples bird dogs generally. Was a good watch

Robyn Gaskin and her bird dogs Tanner and Tonto
Wildman, Wirehunt, Ruff and 1 others like this.
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Likewise, but that probably contributes to the dog looking for the furry f@*kers

    Great to watch!

Those Trial grounds were always loaded with possums! Makes for a bloody hard day if you're running a Versatile!

Hopefully my girl will find a rooster for me Saturday we have 3 days to look before the public season closes for a month. You guys up north don't know how lucky you are

As a side note, Robyns' Tanner in the video is now both a grand field trial champion (20 pigeon trial championships to be a grand ch.) and grand field champion (8 championships on wild game - exceptional) - the first in P&S trials history

Brick lost a trial there himself after an indiscretion with a possum. Normally the spaniels are not penalized if they release any ground game, unharmed, they secure. I asked Brick to "leave" and he tried, but the possum had him by the ear and wouldn't let go LOL
