    Springer Pups

Due to having to relocate shortly and not knowing how many dogs I will be able to retain I reluctantly offer two male Springers from Grace’s recent litter for sale. These pups were to be retained to be taken through for full training for clients but due to the uncertainty of “dog space” in the short term I think it is better to find hunting homes for them and to delay the fully trained dogs until next litter.
Both are Male, docked by an NZKC approved docker and registered on the NZKC #1 register with no endorsements or conditions. They are up to date with all vaccinations and have been fully wormed and flea treated.

They are deliberately line bred to “Brick of Ballyblack” one of the most dominant sires in recent years and an exceptional hunting dog of quite some repute. He also acquitted himself well in a limited trialling career. Full ongoing support will be given to owners to help with training (see New Zealand Gundogs. for our website).

Price is $1500.00 per pup. We are happy to ship anywhere in NZ at the buyers cost.
See photos for photos of pups and the pedigree. Available pups are extreme left and right... the middle one is mine!

Lovely looking pups....if it wasn't for a bouncing 3yo springer already in our house I'd snap one up! Good luck.

Yeah, probably won't happen, good try though... Inbred, line bred, whatever bred, it only makes sense if you know what's happening... Let the least ignorant among us make the least judgement... probably the best bred litter in recent years....

I can can explain intelligent genetics to you, but I cannot understand them for you.

So far they seem good enough for the owner of 3 previous FTCH's and the government as passive search dogs, but you probably know more than them.

Wirehunt, ask any geneticist if they consider these inbred, and they would probably laugh at you.

Saw these pups last week, a lovely litter. All the best with them in their new homes

@Pointer, that might be a bit harsh, afterall inbreeding is only linebreeding when it goes wrong...

    Lovely puppies...

    Firstly, dogs don't get married.

Secondly, they are the equivalent of second cousins, so yes they would.

So much human emotion attached to that word. Ruffs only crime was using it.

If anyone wants me to do the coefficient I can for them, but just from looking at it I can tell you it will be pretty low. Not enough to be a consideration.

Either way stop polluting his thread and let him move these pups in peace!

    I love those bounce-off-the-walls screwballs!

I had a good one years ago named Ziggy. He would zig and zag back and forth in front of you all day long, finding birds like a vacuum cleaner finds dust. He had a wonderful nose and no give-up.
