    Have a guess at his breed?

    Hey fellas, I recently adopted a pup from the shelter and having a hard time guessing his mix, as first glance i think he's some sort of pig dog and thought I may have some luck on the forums here, he's roughly 3 months old and weighs 8.5kg give or take a little bit. He follows me like a shadow and is great with people and so far dogs although he's a bit nippy at the moment with the old boy a staff x. Once we first brought him home he saw our cat and barked a few times before chasing it out the house after 10 days of telling him not too he leaves her now but is very curious / wary of her. The foster home he was with before the spca said he had a hunting instinct? I'm not a hunter really although I do plan on going out with friends in the coming weeks so i can't tell. Also he's got lots of energy, when he's awake he quite hyper and he can be very stubborn / headstrong at times. He has a short coat that does not leave any hair behind and is a very confident pup. Thanks all.

    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

    @rsjt92

    That's a fully pure breed Flaxmere Terrier.

    Handsome looking bugger too.

    Cheers

    Flaxmere Terriers are just like the dog you have.

    Flaxmere Terriers are bloody good dogs too, intelligent, cunning, courageous and fast learning.

    Cheers

    Good looking hound.

    Dogo Argentino x pit or something would have been my guess? Got the big dew claws on the aft legs.
