    Dr. Emily Patterson-Kane

    Considering that the historically docked breeds are from Europe, one could have assumed that MPI would have consulted with European experts ...

    Another point in all of this is ... if they are so darned set on a docking ban, how can they substantiate the findings of one, obviously biased, opinion ... ?

    I'm trying to find the Facebook quote an American Vet friend of mine left on my page regarding the need for docking and injuries he sees as a result of not docking and the cost and trauma of amputation in adult dogs. Talked about his surgery being "spray painted" with blood from damaged wagging tails.

    Yes, this is not from hunting, initially it was, now in advancing years the scar tissue opens up just around the house
