Any keen fire personal about Keen on a hunt around kaikoura
Interesting. Most training courses I've done over last couple of years we've been been given or told about claim forms to complete for any expenses. So far I don't think anyone has filled them in!
Wondering how much higher the payments would be if they didn't faff about replacing overalls with the new 'temporary' separate pants & tops.
Liking some of the other new gear being dished out though. Got an awesome new portable pump. Electric start & sweet delivery to a couple of forestery or 70mm. So much better than pull starting the old two stroke!
Sincere condolences and thoughts to the families and friends of the four firefighters lost in a tragic accident today
RIP gentlemen. You won’t be forgotten

any from lincoln ??
Our unit is likely the lowest tech there is as zero mains electricity at our remote location (closest is 10km away). Apparently it well confused the equipment supply guys at FENZ when our crew chief told them the TV they supplied for for unit training videos was useless. There's now off grid solar being installed :-)
They were all from Murupara
A Hugh loss to the brigade and community
I did three years as a volly in Stoke, Nelson while Kerry Ferris was chief (RIP). Good times, saw a few big structural fires in my time there.
