    Pulsar Quantum HD19s Thermal Imager

    Howdy fellow shooters!

I've just finished producing a video for our Pulsar Quantum HD19s

    https://vimeo.com/114231774

We've sold over 100 Quantums this year and I get heaps of phone calls from excited hunters telling me how it's improved their hunting.

I use the Quantum HD19s for 80% of my hunting because it is so easy to walk in the dark whilst looking through it, and animals appear like magic!

I also recently helped eradicate pigs on Farewell Spit by spotting them hiding in dense, chest-high scrub, then directing the helicopter pilot to flush them onto open ground in order to shoot. See this video:

    https://vimeo.com/106085706

    • 384 x 288 a-Si UFPA
    • 19mm germanium lens
    • 30Hz refresh rate (we can also supply 9Hz for traveling to countries where high performance thermal imagers are illegal)
    • Detection range, according to my own tests: Human over 700m, cattle/stags over 1100 m
    • Uses 4x AA batteries, and supplied with 2x battery holders for rapid replacement, and has an external 12v power socket

    More specs here:

    Pulsar Quantum HD Thermal Imagers.

At $4699 they are easily the best value thermal imager on the market, GUARANTEED! This includes GST, freight, and a Pulsar EPS3 external power pack.

I test each unit before dispatch, and we service the 3 year factory warranty. If a unit fails, we normally replace it out of our own stock.

As the exclusive New Zealand distributor, we have access to all the latest products, spares and the repair facility in Scotland.

I also offer technical support, and advice based on experience, because I'm out using these thermals regularly.

Having used this Model a bit I can say they are far superior to any night vision for detecting game, especially big game in low scrub.

Day or night where you can look into a face from another ridge you will see animals you would never see with a spotlight or binos.

I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on the Pulsar Apex XD thermal rifle scope in January. We've had a few hold-ups with EU export licenses.

It's on my to do list. Our dealers have been asking the same question I've got loads of cool footage, just need to sit down and spend a couples of days producing.

But I do have these wee vids in the meatime:

    I've just bought a boat

I mean the wife and I have just invested in a boat for the business I'm picking it up from Kaikoura in the morning. I've just finished fitting a trailer light socket to my truck, with lots of looking for things, swearing and cursing, but all good now.

It was a lot of fun. The scrub is chest high and the pigs feel safe hiding in it. They stand out like dogs balls with my Pulsar thermal though. I should put the press release up on the forum about the pig eradication program on the Spit.

I like my HD19, but the 38 looks to be far better by the looks of the vids

Better for detections at range (in my limited experience)
