    NZ 2015 IPSC Nationals

I just thought I'd say congratulations to Banana on taking out first New Zealander in production division, nicely done.

I've chucked in a video of the stages as shot by the guy that won open division. Since I'm currently enjoying IPSC voyeuristically so it is good to see the stages from a couple of different angles just to rub in not being able to shoot them.

Good to see Ramel getting back to his winning ways now that he has a decent pistol instead of the sponsored jam O matic he had been using.
Looking forward to getting my replacement in the new year from Robbie and getting back into completive shooting.

Looks like an STI DVC race gun?

Definitely some sound stage planning needed by the looks.
Lots of swingers and disappearing targets.
I'm looking forward to the RC shoot if that is anything to go by.

Rodan Arms custom made STI / SVI.
My first pistol from Rodan Arms has lasted 18+ years and about 150K rounds with only a couple of overhauls along the way.
Amazing since the vast majority were 180+ power factor rounds.
Get what you pay for as with most things in life.
Put another 200 rounds through it on Sunday. Still shoots more accurately than I can.

    Sounds pricey😆
I will be happy when my DVC standard shows up. That's costing me enough.

Ours have been lame lately because bugger all are showing up as most members are farmers.
Could zip over if it's worth it.

We shoot every Sunday morning (normally 2 stages, but can go longer - around 10-25 people per week) and run a mini match (4 stages and sometimes up to 30-40 people split in squads) on a monthly basis. Just a normally Sunday morning shoot this week, but I see the Ashburton club is have a social match on the 6th of December (no restrictions on mag sizes etc and everyone scored as open grade - more of a get together and shoot some stuff by the sound of it).

Sorry to be ignorant, but what's the black thing on the top/left of his gun in the video?

it's the base of the red dot on a 90 deg mount to get the dot closer to the barrel

Being over gunned is under rated.

The stages were a lot of fun to shoot, overall there weren't to many swingers or drop turners, it was a good balance. River city should be a good shoot.
