    Hahahaha

    I also thought this was a strange 1st post, but you guys are just far too suspicious.

    @Liam

    What type of 22 pistol are you looking for?

    What competition are you looking to use it in?

    What's you budget?

    What club to you currently shoot with?

    Cheers

    Reminds me of a post on the NZ Firearms facebook page when a guy said he'd just got off the plane from Aussie and was after a cheap pistol. Post didn't last long

    Come on guys. The guy says he has his b so that implies he is intending to go through all the hoops to change ownership.

    Sure is not the most ideal first post, but some people lurk for a long time before the feel the need or build up courage to post.

    Way to welcome new members

    I have one of these.
    RUGER MARK III MODEL 3908

    NZGUNS has one in stock.
    Great pistol and its already threaded.
    I put in an aftermarket trigger and added a Fast fire 3 red dot.
    Easy to burn through a brick of ammo everytime its taken to the range.

    Sorry gentlemen was unaware of the protocol with joining this site. Marty I can assure you (although I do enjoy fishing) I am not HDPA or Greg OC. Stumpy you won't get a reach around from me just on an intro, it's going to at least take dinner and a movie. In all seriousness though I apologise for the vague start. I am new to pistol shooting and am looking for a second hand .22 just for practice at the range. I am still swaying between a glock and a cz 9mm so am wanting the .22 in the meantime. I can get a new cheapy for $520 so am hoping to pay less than that so not to cut into the 9mm fund. I have my b and e cat and belong to the Hamilton pistol club. I hope my take 2 intro is more agreeable. Cheers Liam
