    A deer shot in the head wont mind if its a 50 gr or 60 gr pill. Id rebarrel, and keep it as 222. Apart from the "noise reduction" theres no real advantage to a suppressor on a .222

    Just couldn't wait, so went out in the rain and did a basic sight in with a handful of Winchester accubond ct rounds I was given. 100yard 3 shot group of 11mm is starting to get me excited.

    Those GPO scopes are pretty nice, just wish they did a zero stop external turret. Very sensible hunting rifle and useful magnification range on that set up :cool:
