Check out the range Ken does at nightvision.co.nz, he has some hand helds from around $2500. I run a Pard high res hand held but use a Sytong low res scope and it definitely still does the job...

Didn't happen, I upgraded to the Arken instead which is miles better and has ballistics on board, also added a Sytong thermal with ballistics built in too.
