    Its great country in there - I'd definitely recommend U Pass for a trip (Mistake Creek - Hut Creek loop), Glade Pass is a bit of a steeper and nastier tussock-haul.

    Nice spot isn't it, been up there a couple of times - once in mid winter we plugged snow from the bushline onwards only to turn back at the pass with 90k winds and about 10m visibility on the other...
