Typical Easter fare, lamb leg (med well), roast spuds and taro, buttered peas, roast brussel sprouts, gravy and mint jelly. Gonna be leftovers for the next month i expect.

22 springer when i'm on my own and a ruger 10/22 when under supervision of my licensed mate. I'm crap with the 10/22, can't stand the trigger but too broke to replace it with something nicer. Not too...
I have been allowing for that yep. Trigger control is my enemy at the mo, when i mess up a shot it's generally me pulling it left or right. I have an old table leg i filled with lead shot in one end...
Just something i'll have to get over then i suppose.
As for the shooting, look i'm new ish okay? I'm well aware i'm not a marksman yet but the vast majority of time when i aim for the head i hit...
I've gotten clawed by them before, maybe it's just from being a chef and being used to cuts but it wasn't that bad. Biting might be another matter.
9 times out of 10 when i do need to finish them off they're not very agile or fighty by that point anyway.
That's kind of what i was after, i remember there being a method to it but i can't remember it for the life of me.
I was wondering what methods you use to dispatch possums when they're still kicking after being shot? It happens sometimes and while i know the standard method is to whack them over the head i'm not...

I'm looking at the Benjamin trail np 22, my mate can get good prices on them and they seem to tick the right boxes. Obviously have to handle it in person though before I make a proper decision.

It appears to be a blanket condition on all pre charged air rifles
Pretty certain pre charged air rifles require a firearms license annoyingly.
It's not the end of the world unless i let it be i suppose, and if i do that then they were right. Still ways i can enjoy my hobby while i work on license round 2.
