    2800 is a good baseline for killing with a .223. Ideally you want everything you can get.

    You should be able to get them going a lot faster...

    You should be able to get them going a lot faster if you work up to 26gr. As a point of reference out of my 22" .223 I have 75gr A max doing 2960 with 24grs 2206H. I think from memory I had 55's...
