it's your own requirement of the game bird resource, some hunters have different idea's on how it's used.
in a lot of ways I share your views, but have learnt it's no use expecting everybody to be...
after being flushed and shot at for a month I'd be reluctant to call them pampered.
shooting the fringes will only give you and your dog an increase in encounters not so much an easy bag limit.......
yes he is indeed mopping up the escapee's from the slaughter grounds next door.....
the numbers tell all, I myself have the time and dogs to shoot a modest bag each year I don't really target roosters until the ducks are finished and the ink weed has died off but average 20-30 birds...
a nice post but my head is still full of your defence of running ya dog during the nesting period.... but thats just me.
for the record i'm happy if the rooster wins, it means my dogs can find him...
