The 10/22 satisfies my AR urges for now. I like the idea of a stumpy 223 (the heavy barrel remington) that shoots MOW (minute of wallaby) and can get beat up a bit.

I like the viper hs its compact, nice retical but i dont really have much to compare it to. Its better than my old Leupold MK4 LRT and the nikko (obviously)...

Almost all bases covered, 223 would finish it off. I just got the 10-22 barrel today its still full of grease. when the brownells bits arrive i will set it up and run it in.

So lately ive sold some and brought some. This is what ive ended up with.

Howa 308 vortex...

This was one of my options too but i really liked the feel of the howa which wasnt even on my radar untill i got to the shop.

Nice!!! Have you weighed it? I want to build something very similar on a rem 700 but a bit more alpine friendly. Didnt know Stug made those A3ish type stocks! do you know what the weight of it was?...

Its longer than the hand held but im only shooting off my bike for now. Ive got a couple things to do to my truck before it goes offroad
